IPL or called OPT:
IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) means treatments with Intense Pulsed Light.
IPL (intense pulsed light) is a kind of color light with high energy, broad spectrum, various wavelengths, which could effectively penetrate the epidermis to the dermis.
The hair removal is done by applying controlled pulses of light that are absorbed only by the hair follicles, without affecting the skin. The light emitted, warms the follicle destroying and preventing the hair from appearing again.
SHR Technology
With the SHR technology, the hair removal methodology involving the hair pigment uses only 50% of the energy for permanent hair removal. The remaining 50% is absorbed in the stem cells responsible for hair production through the skin during treatment with SHR technology.
With SHR technology one does not need unique pulses with high energy. The skin is massaged six to ten times with little energy but with high frequency. This procedure is known as the methodology called "in motion", because the hand piece moves on the treated area in sliding movements. (Unlike this, IPL technology is called "seal technology").
Using SHR technology, skin is heated gently through melanin and stem cells with low energy (48 degrees) but with high frequency. In this way, even the lightest and thinnest hair can be treated and permanently removed in a better way. With IPL technology, the skin is heated up to 70 degrees.
